Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. Many restaurants across Michigan run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Detroit is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Detroit follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Fantastic and fun Girls Night Out. The atmosphere is eclectic and beautiful. The food incredible with many vegetarian and GF options. The portions are generous, lots of sharing but still lots of leftovers. The black pepper mushrooms are the thing of dreams! Yummy cocktails too. I loved the Dirtiest Chai.

The food was good unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the food but I got the tikka masala, chicken curry, chicken biriyani and garlic nan. The chicken curry goes well with the biriyani with some lime. Pricing wasn’t too bad but I did only get like 4 small pieces of chicken for each curry. Other than food the atmosphere and environment was great! Definitely a place where friends can hand out, talk, eat, and play pool.

Love love love midnight temple. ALWAYS a great vibe, great vibe, and amazing food. Not only can you grab a bite and drink, but I love how interactive the restaurant is (I.e. pool table, tv, live music) and how they host events as well. Can be a little confusing when you walk in, because you can't tell who the workers are and the hostess area is by the kitchen (instead of the front) so sometimes you're standing a little awkwardly for a minuteπŸ˜… (literally my only "complaint")

We had buttered chicken boneless wings and the flavor was wonderful. They were a little bit too textured of meat for me, but my husband loved them. I had an iced chai cocktail that was lovely. The garlic naan was good but I wished that it was warmer. It is a beautiful place and we will be back to taste more items and drinks on the menu.

I recently visited Midnight Temple in Eastern Market. The space is incredibly colorful and vibrant, yet still manages to feel cozy and romantic with its low lighting. It’s the perfect blend of lively and intimate. The music was on point, and they even have a DJ booth, which adds to the gastropub vibe. The only downside to the ambiance was the huge TV in the back playing movies, it felt a bit like an eyesore and distracted slightly from the otherwise beautiful aesthetic. This Indian gastropub is also great for large groups β€” just be sure to call ahead and RSVP so they can accommodate you comfortably. Now, the food. Everything we ordered was delicious. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, and I love that they allow you to adjust the spice level. We ordered ours spicy, and it was perfect. The chicken biryani was good. We also had the tandoori chicken, a mushroom dish, a cauliflower dish, and a goat dish; each one was well-seasoned and satisfying. You can absolutely tell the naan is freshly made, which makes such a difference. Overall, the experience was fantastic, great food, fun atmosphere, and a unique vibe in Eastern Market. I’ll definitely be back again.
